Why are we here?

So why HoweSafe you may well ask! Well to be honest, I guess we just got tired of seeing people fall apart at work because their company, their boss or their team didn't care about them. We got tired of seeing all this money being spent by companies on interventions to try and hold teams together that didn't work.

At Howesafe we focus on making sure that whatever we do and whatever we recommend is backed up by evidence based research. There is no point selling you stuff that isn't suited for you, your teams or your business. Doing that is a waste of time and money and one thing we hate is wasting time and money.

Howesafe started because we could see a new kind of risk profile was exponentially increasing for employers. We could see the symptoms by injury claims increasing, especially psychological injury claims, we could see levels of aggression and conflict rising in communities, we could see families breaking down and people feeling lost, angry, sad and lonely. We started to see some companies turn over 80% of their staff a year, we could see the pressure rising on teams left to carry the load. We could see cost for employers going up and up and up and profits coming to a standstill.

After all the years of research and plain old life experience we know that everyone has something amazing to offer and that people want to be part of amazing teams and be productive. We know that being part of something is good for our soul. We know that if you feel safe with the people you work with then you start to look after the people around you. We wanted to be able to share what we know to help business grow through growing people and teams.
